The Hot Iron Dust Up is Massachusetts’ very own vintage drag event, held annually on Father’s Day weekend. It celebrates traditional hot rods, vintage motorcycles and pays homage to the early days of Grassroots racing, offering an authentic motorsports experience with something for everyone!!
How it Began....
The inaugural year in 2025 began as a simple experiment in a gravel lot. Inspired by the growing love for vintage racing events across the Northeast, the debut of Dust Up was beyond expectations, shaped by the vintage racing community who got behind this crazy idea, and leap of faith! HOT IRON DUST UP OR BUST!

The Hot Iron Dust Up has grown steadily, fueled by the passion and dedication of our community. Each year, we hope to deepen our roots, refining the event experience while staying true to our grassroots origins. Our vision is to continue growing sustainably, welcoming more participants and fans, and strengthening the bonds that make this event a unique and cherished tradition every Father’s Day weekend!
